The fight is not over. Yes, the camps have been raided. What our oppressors did not know is that we would take learned lessons, strategy and organizing skills home with us and start resisting! They did not know that we would fan out across Turtle Island and beyond.
As an organizer, I have gotten use to the idea that I am planting seeds that I might not live to see the fruition of. I may be gone from this Earth by the time the work we are doing creates lasting change. Divestment and reinvestment are two actions we can take now, and if done strategically and with purpose, we can and will see immediate results.
We have to continue to attack this Black Snake from every front with a diversity of tactics.
